truly, his Regnum Kingdom is known to be affected by such a constellation that while enemies will attack him, [he will be] in the part sustaining the attack: because the great part would not sustain or wait for the attack: in which some enemies will be carried away with power and will be received. Those damages of wars with difficulties and great labors will be brought about by treasons: for he will have certain fraudulent enemies in his house. But those damages will be dire, strong, and calamitous with the destruction of places and cities: which will also have remission. His kingdom also will be trodden as if divided by two peoples or contrary nations. And although I pass over the goal of the things of this year, I say that there will be greater and harsher sieges of armies and cities in said places finally, and the conflicts and battles themselves. And he will feel certain dangers according to his wish toward the end after the present with a whirlwind. However, those things which are contrary to safety and the body, he will suffer danger with heedfulness in waters. Since I consider him most diligent, I do not describe, nor will I repeat those things explained in the generals.
¶ Hercules Ercole I d'Este, the generous duke of Ferrarie Ferrara, will stand with the increase of fortune or honor in himself, and he will be observed by certain princes, with whom there will be a league. They also, trusting much in him, will believe in him: and they will have him in an honored name with glorious and feared value in wars: where he will be observed by many people. And although enemies might arrange and labor against him in the present, they will not be masters of their vows. But he himself after the present will sometimes fear and be saddened when he will see certain vows not being fulfilled or they will not proceed...
