An elaborate Art Nouveau decorative border in black ink frames the text. The border features scrolling, organic lines and stylized floral motifs resembling clovers or trefoils. At the bottom center of the frame is a printer's mark featuring a decorative monogram "BGT" (for B. G. Teubner) with a small signature "JVC" below it.
