The patrol magistrate of Jurong County oversees the Longtan Inspection Office, which includes one xunjian patrol inspector, one coordinating volunteer militia member, 40 archers, and 20 coordinating civilian laborers, with two patrol boats. The defense zone reaches Luo-jiatao, connecting to Huangtiandang and the Guabu Inspection Office, 20 li to the north, and reaches Laoguanzui and the Qingshan Sanjiangkou, 20 li to the south. At Xie-gou, there is one volunteer militia member and 20 civilian laborers guarding the post. There were originally no patrol boats built; for every patrol meeting, the civilian laborers were required to hire civilian boats on the spot. The defense zone reaches the old river mouth of Yizhen, 35 li to the north, and reaches the Gaozi Town Inspection Office, 40 li to the south. The county has stated that the territory of the Longtan Town Inspection Office is where the office coordinates with volunteer militia to maintain the guard, reaching Luo-jiatao in the north, connecting to Huangtiandang and the Guabu inspection office.
