M. IUNIUS M. F. N. is killed by Tarquinius along with his father. Dionysius is the author.
L. IUNIUS M. F. N. BRUTUS, covered his true intent with the highest prudence under the simulation of stupidity. When Sextus Tarquinius had committed violence against Lucretia, he urged the Roman people to recover their liberty, expelled the king along with the Tarquinian clan from the city, and bound the state, liberated from perpetual domination, with annual magistrates, laws, and courts. He abrogated the power of his colleague Tarquinius Collatinus, who was the first created Consul in the year 244 after the founding of the Roman people, so that the memory of the royal name might be removed from the city. He waged war for the fatherland against the Tarquins and the Latins, and was killed in battle by Arruns, son of king Tarquinius. Dionysius books IV and V. Livy 1 and 2. Plutarch in Poplicola.
