Besides a respectable description of the Imperial residence city of Constantinople in particular, of the palace, the churches, and other prominent buildings located there, &c.

A woodcut vignette depicts a figure sitting on a stool, working at a device, possibly a loom, under a simple thatched shelter. In the center of the scene is a small structure or monument inscribed with the motto "THROUGH TIME AND DILIGENCE." To the right stands a gnarled tree, and in the background, a coastal landscape with hills and another small building is visible.
