The First in the Year 1614.
Narrating the conditions of the Land,
its islands, rivers, settlements
of the Savages, their religion, punishments,
appearance, birds, fish, fruits,
crops, merchandise and
other particulars.
The Second made in the Year 1615.
In which are narrated the great misfortunes that
befell the author on his journey, both by storm,
and by the imprisonment by the French warship,
with his recovery, and return
to England.
Described by the traveler himself in English, and now from that
language translated. Adorned with a Register and Art-Plates.
A small, wide rectangular engraving depicting a coastal or harbor scene. On the left side of the frame, there is land with several trees. In the center and right, figures are depicted near a body of water, possibly engaged in maritime activity or near small vessels. The entire scene is enclosed within a decorative border.
