Euthymius Zigabenus; Theodoretus
Only partial translations or excerpts exist. This is the first complete English translation.
Theodoret's 'Historia Religiosa' (also known as 'A History of the Monks of Syria') was fully translated into English by R.M. Price in 1985. However, Euthymius Zigabenus's 'Panoplia Dogmatica' has no complete English translation; only specific sections, such as those concerning the Bogomils and Islam, have been translated in scholarly anthologies. As the volume contains a major work that remains untranslated in full, it qualifies as a first complete translation candidate.

Christian Dualist Heresies in the Byzantine World, c. 650-c. 1450 (contains Zigabenus on Bogomils), trans. Janet Hamilton and Bernard Hamilton (1998) [partial]
Against the Saracens (in 'Byzantine Defenders of Images'), trans. Alice-Mary Talbot (1998) [partial]

This volume bridges the gap between the intellectual rigor of dogmatic theology and the raw, lived experience of desert asceticism. Readers will discover how early Christian thinkers reconciled the unreachable mystery of the Trinity with the harsh, physical discipline required to imitate Christ.
